CFMoto's quarter-litre motorcycle, the 250SR, was recently spotted in Orange and Blue paint scheme (race livery) in China. The fully-faired motorcycle is priced in the Chinese market at RMB 19,980, which converts to Rs 2.29 lakh. While its arrival in the Indian market is quite doubtful, let's take a look at the details of the same.
Design
The CFMoto 250SR is a sharp and aggressive looking motorcycle. The fully-faired bike comes with twin-pod headlights, fairing-mounted mirrors, underbelly exhaust, split seat setup and a lean tail section. As of now in China, it's only offered in two colour options: White with Blue highlights and Black with Grey highlights. However, it was recently spotted in China in a Race livery (Orange and Blue) which the company might offer soon.
Engine
The CFMoto 250SR draws power from a 249cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine that churns out 27.5bhp at 9,750rpm and 22Nm at 7,500rpm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission.
Features
The quarter-litre motorcycle is offered with features like all LED lights, slipper clutch, ABS, two riding modes (Eco and Sport) and a fully digital TFT instrument cluster that displays smartphone notifications via Bluetooth.
Hardware
The ride here is taken care of by 37mm inverted forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, it employs a 292mm single disc at the front and 220mm single disc at the rear assisted by ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in tyres having 110mm width at the front and 140mm width at the rear. The seat height here is kept at 780mm while the bike weighs 165kg.
