CFMoto has introduced its first BS6-compliant motorcycle in the Indian market, the 300NK. The updated version of the naked roadster retails at the same price tag as its predecessor and here we bring you the top five highlights of the motorcycle.
Styling
The changes to the BS6 model are limited to the mechanical upgrades to comply with the new emission norms. The styling, on the other hand, remains unaltered, and the CFMoto 300NK BS6 continues to feature an aggressive design with a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, tyre hugger-mounted rear number plate, star-style alloy wheel design, and an underbelly exhaust. CFMoto has not made any changes to the colour or the graphics on the BS6 model. The motorcycle is available in two colours – Blue and Grey.
Features
The feature list, similar to the BS4 model, includes full-LED lighting and a colour screen with two display modes. The two modes alter the way the data is shown on the screen. The instrument cluster shows a plethora of information including the temperature, battery voltage, and clock.
Engine
The company hasn’t revealed the power and torque output figures on the BS6 model. However, it retains the 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve, DOHC setup and continues to come linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Hardware
The BS6 model continues to use a trellis frame. The suspension setup comprises upside-down telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock while the anchoring tasks are handled by single discs on both wheels. The safety net is provided by dual-channel ABS.
Price
Despite complying with the newest emission norms, the CFMoto 300NK retains the same price tag as the BS4 version. The new CFMoto 300NK has been priced at Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
