CFMoto has confirmed that it will soon introduce its first BS6-compliant motorcycle, the 300NK in the Indian market. The company has only released a teaser image of the motorcycle that gives a glimpse at the headlight. Here we tell you what to expect from the upcoming CFMoto 300NK BS6.
Design
The overall styling will remain similar to the BS4 model and the upcoming CFMoto 300NK BS6 will continue to feature a sharp design. The motorcycle will come equipped with a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, tyre hugger-mounted rear number plate, star-style alloy wheel design, and an underbelly exhaust. CFMoto may revise the colour palette and graphics on the BS6 model to distinguish it from the old motorcycle.
Engine
While the overall styling will remain similar to the BS4 model, the engine will get necessary changes to comply with the new, more stringent emission norms. The updated motor should retain the 292.4cc layout and single-cylinder, liquid-cooled layout, although the power and torque output numbers may witness a marginal decline. The BS4 model, for reference, had an output of 33.5bhp and 20.5Nm of torque. The engine will continue to use a six-speed gearbox.
Hardware
The premium hardware on the CFMoto 300NK will continue to include full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster. The suspension setup will include upside-down forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the back. The braking tasks will be handled by single discs on both wheels.
Electronics
The safety net on the motorcycle will include a dual-channel ABS. The instrument cluster, similar to the BS4 model, should pack two display modes that alter the way the data is showcased on the screen.
Price
The updated model should carry a marginal price premium over its predecessor and should arrive in the Rs 2.35-2.40 lakh (ex-showroom) range.
