CFMoto 300NK – Top 5 highlights

The CFMoto 300NK is the Chinese brand’s entry-level offering in India which locks horns with highly capable rivals such as the KTM 390 Duke and BMW G 310 R. The naked streetbike has a few tricks up its sleeves which make it an appealing product and we list down top five of them.

Styling and colours

The styling of the 300NK boasts of a true streetfighter appeal with sharp lines running all over its body panels. The low-slung LED headlamp blends with an edgy fuel tank which carries a broad shoulder line. Completing the aggressive design is an upswept and sharp tail section which houses an LED tail lamp. The 300NK is available in two colour options - Nebula Black and Concept Blue. While the former gets blacked-out frame and alloy wheels, the latter sports a blue-painted frame and alloy wheels which look bold and eye-catchy.

Instrument cluster

What gives the 300NK an edge over most of its rivals is a five-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster which displays a host of information. What makes this unit fancier is the availability of two layout options for the display which go by the name ‘Sport’ and ‘Rain.’

Premium hardware

Besides loading the 300NK with modern features, CFMoto has also equipped the naked bike with premium hardware. The motorcycle is held together by a tubular steel trellis frame along with a tubular-type swingarm. Suspension duties on the motorcycle are handled by upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, stopping power comes from disc brakes with J Juan calipers at both ends, assisted by dual-channel ABS.

Powerplant

Propelling the 300NK is a 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor with DOHC (dual overhead camshaft) layout. The engine produces 33.5bhp of power and 20.5Nm of torque and, it comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Pricing

In order to make its products enticing for the buyers, CFMoto intends to price its current and future products competitively. The brand has done exactly that with the 300NK as it has pegged the naked motorcycle at Rs 2.29 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). With this pricing, the motorcycle is one of the most affordable 300cc bikes in India.
