- CFMoto 450SR revealed
- Gets good performance
- Retains styling from the SR-C1 concept
Just a few days ago, we showed you the leaked pictures of the CFMoto 450SR. And now, the company has finally revealed the bike in all its glory.
This bike was first unveiled as the SR-C1 concept and from these pictures, it is clear that the brand has decided to carry most of the styling traits from the concept. To make it production friendly, CFMoto has given the 450SR larger headlights with LED strips, rearview mirrors and a single exhaust instead of the twins that were seen on the concept.
The Chinese brand has used cheaper cycle parts to make it more affordable. So the bike gets a dual-side swingarm and cheaper suspension and brakes. The 450SR is equipped with a single 320mm disc at the front and 220mm at the rear. The unit is from Brembo and the ABS is from Bosch.
The 450cc engine on the 450SR is new and churns out around 50bhp of peak power and 39Nm of torque. The gearbox is six-speed. These numbers are quite good for a motorcycle this size. In fact, with a weight of 168kg, it is one of the best bikes in the segment when it comes to power-to-weight ratio.
For now, the 450SR will be sold in China, but expect the bike to make its way to global markets later this year. We would love to see his bike in India as well, but the CFMoto operations in India are barely moving forward.
