CFMoto has a knack for teasing its motorcycles, especially the SR series. Well, this time around the manufacturer has teased two of their high-performance motorcycles- the 500SR and 675SR.
The upcoming bikes were revealed at the 2023 CFMoto Day held at Zhuzhou International Circuit in China. Now, not much about either of the motorcycles has been disclosed, but the teasers show that the bikes will follow the same design language as the smaller-capacity 450SR and 300SR. So an aggressive-looking front end with full fairing, clip-on bars and an upswept tail section is expected.
Now, powering the CFMoto 500SR is a 500cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four cylinder engine that is said to be under development for three years. The Chinese manufacturer has also added that it can reach speeds of over 230kmph. The other highlight is the CFMoto 675SR which will be the most performance-oriented motorcycle from the brand yet.
This supersport will come with a three-cylinder engine that is expected to churn out over 100bhp. What is not known is whether the engine has been completely developed by CFMoto or uses tech from other motorcycles. Either way, the manufacturer is only expected to completely reveal the 500SR and 675SR by the end of the year for global markets. An Indian launch is unlikely since CFMoto does not have a presence here. However, if you do have an option to buy a similar-looking motorcycle in the form of the Keeway 300SR in the country.
