- BS6 model confirmed via social media handles
- Likely to feature subtle styling changes
- Launch date unavailable yet
Chinese two-wheeler brand, CFMoto has announced via its social media handles that it will soon launch the BS6-compliant 650NK in the Indian market. The official details about the upcoming middleweight roadster are scarce, although the BS6-compliant model, as seen in leaked photographs, will receive mild cosmetic upgrades over its predecessor.
The styling cues on the upcoming model will include a redesigned fuel tank and front fender. Other design elements will include a dual-tone headlight mask and split-style seats. The hardware, on the other hand, will remain similar to the BS4 model. Thus, the suspension setup will include telescopic forks at the front and an asymmetrically mounted rear mono-shock at the back. The braking tasks will be handled by twin rotors at the front and a single disc at the rear while the safety net will include a dual-channel ABS.
Mechanical specifications will retain the 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. The power and torque output numbers from the BS6 engine are not available yet, and we do not expect to see a major difference in the numbers.
CFMoto introduced the 300NK BS6 at the same price tag as the BS4 model, and we expect to see a similar strategy with the 650NK. Thus, expect the upcoming CFMoto 650NK BS6 to be launched at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
