- Is powered by a 693cc parallel-twin engine
- Gets premium hardware like Brembo brakes and adjustable suspension
- Gets cruise control system, ride modes and more
CFMoto is all set to launch its ‘sportiest’ neo-retro offering in Europe, the 700 CL-X. It’s the fourth middleweight offering from the Chinese brand but packs quite different hardware as well as styling compared to the other three models.
Right off the bat, the CFMoto 700 CL-X is a thorough neo-retro offering. It gets a round LED headlight flanked by LED turn indicators. The clip-on handlebars are sweeped towards the rider and the bike comes with bar-end mirrors. Even the overall bodywork is quite curvy and butch.
The CFMoto 700 CL-X is powered by a 693cc parallel-twin motor that develops 69.7bhp and 61Nm. For reference, the Kawasaki Z650RS makes 67bhp and 64Nm. Not just that, the 700 CL-X also gets cruise control, dual-channel ABS, ride modes as well as self cancelling indicators.
Braking hardware on the CFMotor 700 CL-X consists of dual front disc and a single rear unit held by Brembo Stylema calipers. Meanwhile, the suspension setup comprises 41mm KYB USD forks and KYB cantilever rear shock with preload and damping adjustability.
In Europe, it retails at EUR 7,699 (approximately Rs 6.36 lakh) which seems a decent price given the equipment on offer. However, CFMoto India has no intentions of launching the 700 CL-X here as of now.
