- Borrows engine from the KTM 790
- Gets adjustable USD front forks
- Likely to be launched in the international market only
Chinese two-wheeler maker, CFMoto has unveiled its latest offering, the 800NK. It’s the company’s latest streetfighter in the middleweight segment and here’s what the bike packs.
The 800NK gets a very youthful and aggressive bodywork. It features a distinct fascia with an LED projector bulb and DRLs. Even the sculpted fuel tank with the chiseled shrouds and the tail light give the bike a sporty design. The upswept exhaust also adds to the aesthetic appeal of the 800NK.
CFMoto has powered it by a KTM 790 Duke-sourced motor. So, it’s a parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine dishing out 100.8bhp and 81Nm and mated to a six-speed gearbox. The 800NK seems to be equipped with adjustable front forks and a monoshock along with dual front and a single rear disc brake setup from J.Juan. Apart from LED illumination, you can also expect it to get traction control, ride modes, ABS, and more. The aforementioned bits can be monitored on the vertically stacked TFT console.
The 800NK is likely to be launched in the European market first followed by the remaining ones. It’ll rival the Triumph Street Triple 765, KTM 790 Duke, DucatiMonster, and more. That said, the CFMoto 800NK’s entry in India is unlikely.
