- To be one of the 10 new models from CFMoto’s lineup
- Follows similar theme to the previous SR-C21 concept
- Likely to borrow its engine from the KTM Duke
CFMoto has taken the wraps off its latest roadster concept, the NK-C22. It dons a similar theme of black and red to a previous concept named SR-C21, that CFMoto unveiled and it later on went to become the 450SR. Let’s take a look at the SR-C21 roadster concept.
As mentioned earlier, the new concept from the Chinese bikemaker is a streetfighter offering. It features a transformer-like fascia housing LED illumination. The bodywork too is quite sharp and the radiator cover adds to the visual mass of the front portion. The front and rear wheels boast a very sharp cut design and get forge-carbon covers too.
Details about the SR-C21’s powertrain are scarce at the moment. But you can expect it to borrow the engine from KTM like other models in CFMoto’s range. Further, considering the production model could be aimed at the middleweight segment, CFMoto could also equip it with a bevy of electronics for a convenient user experience.
It’s equipped with USD front forks and a rear monoshock while the braking hardware appears to be dual front discs and a rear single disc. It’s equipped with a single-sided monoshock leaving the rear wheels exposed. But we think the production model is likely to feature a conventional setup.
Lastly, the CFMoto SR-C21 concept is still in its early stages and it could be a while before we see a production version based on it. As of now, CFMoto’s Indian portfolio only has a handful of offerings.
