- Get's off-road-oriented design and mechanicals
- Based on the existing 700 CL-X line
- Powered by a 693cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor
After the 700 CL-X Heritage and the Sport trim, CFMoto has now unveiled the 700 CL-X ADV overseas. The new retro middleweight borrows the base from its siblings and gets off-road-worthy components.
On the design front, a higher front fender, taller handlebar, and a front visor help the ADV distinguish from the Heritage and Sport models. It retains the round LED headlight, tyre hugger and chunky fuel tank though.
CFMoto has plonked in a 693cc parallel-twin motor in the 700 CL-X ADV. It dishes out 71bhp (1.1bhp more than the Heritage) and 61Nm. Similar to the other models, the ADV too features cruise control, riding modes and auto-canceling indicators.
Unlike the Sport and Heritage, the ADV runs on spoked wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. It even gets golden-coloured USD forks and a monoshock setup. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comes from Brembo -- single front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. CFMoto has also offered saddle stay and a boomerang-shaped grab rail.
In Germany, the CFMoto 700 CL-X ADV is priced at EUR 7,199 (approximately Rs 5.85 lakh excluding taxes). Even though CFMoto operates in India, it's only middleweight offerings sold here are the 650cc trio (NK, MT and the GT). And the brand doesn't have any plans to bring the 700 CL-X to India anytime soon.
