- Four CFMoto products to be launched next year
- Will include the recently unveiled 700CL-X
- One motorcycle to be launched in every quarter of 2020
Chinese manufacturer, CFMoto has revealed that it will be launching four new motorcycles in India in 2020.
This will include the 400NK, 400GT, the upcoming 300SR and its top-of-the-line 700CL-X range that was unveiled at the 2019 EICMA. The 400NK has been spotted testing in the country before. It sports a design similar to the 650NK that is available in India for Rs 4.99 lakhs. Moreover, the 400GT’s sport tourer styling has also been borrowed from its bigger sibling, the 650GT. Both motorcycles come powered by a 400cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 40bhp and 34Nm, although with different state of tune to match each bike’s character.
The 300SR is a fully-faired motorcycle an aggressive front end that houses full-LED headlamps. While it will share most of its underpinnings with the 300NK, the 300SR gets revised riding position thanks to the clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs. The 700CL-X, on the other hand, is a scrambler-styled motorcycle available in three variants- CL-X Heritage, CL-X Adventure and CL-X Sport. Each variant offers its own set of unique characteristics. The motorcycles use a new 692cc, parallel-twin motor that is said to churn out 73bhp.
CFMoto has also revealed that it will launch one of these motorcycles in each quarter of 2020. And with the company aiming for more localization in the next 18 months, we can expect the new products to be priced aggressively.
