- CFMoto 300 SR details leaked
- Full fairing houses a 292cc, single-cylinder engine
- Likely to be launched in India by 2021
China-based manufacturer CFMoto’s 300SR isn’t one of the industry’s best kept secrets. After the company released a video teasing the motorcycle, spy images revealed what the production version will look like. Now, leaked documents disclose more details about the CFMoto 300SR.
The motorcycle will be available in two versions- 250SR and 300SR. However, we Indians will get the latter which is based on the 300NK that is already available in the country. The 300SR will use a 292cc, single-cylinder engine that is Euro5/BS6-compliant and produces 28.6bhp at 8750rpm.
In comparison to the 300NK, the fully-faired 300SR produces 5.3bhp lesser. The documents reveal that it is capable of clocking a top-speed of 138kmph, which is barely noticeable considering motorcycles with much lower displacement boast of higher top speeds.
Nevertheless, the CFMoto 300SR sports an aggressive-looking full fairing that houses split, full-LED headlamps flanked by unique-looking LED DRLs. The muscular fuel tank, clip-on handlebars and upswept tail section lend the motorcycle a racy appeal. As for features, the 300SR will come with a five-inch, full-colour TFT display that has two different layouts- Sport and Rain.
CFMoto could globally unveil the 300SR in the coming months and launch it in India by 2021. It will go up against the TVS Apache RR 310 in the country.
