- CFMoto 450SR was globally unveiled in April 2022
- Scheduled to reach Australian dealers in April this year
- India launch not confirmed yet
After the CFMoto 450SR was unveiled in China in April last year, the motorcycle has recently been introduced in the Australian market. The motorcycle goes head-on against bikes like the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400 both of which are sold in India. The 450SR will arrive at dealerships in Australia in April 2023 with a price tag of AUD 7,990 (Rs 4.57 lakh).
The CFMoto 450SR looks closely similar to the Keeway K300 R that’s sold in India. However, the former looks more attention-seeking with swanky colour options that are complemented by edgy graphics. It features an angry front fascia with a sleek dual-LED headlamp that is adjoined by an angular side fairing. Further, there’s a muscular fuel tank which blends with an upswept and pointed tail section. Subtle elements like vibrant accents on the bodywork, bright wheel rim tapes, and golden USD forks add to its visual appeal.
Powering the CFMoto 450SR is a 449.9cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 46bhp and 39Nm of peak torque. This level of performance with an impressive kerb weight of 168kg means it should be a hoot to ride. It is quick enough to reach 100kmph within five seconds while the top speed is claimed to be an impressive 190kmph! Moreover, with goodies like Brembo M40 monobloc brakes and a Bluetooth-enabled TFT console, the motorcycle is quite upmarket in terms of equipment.
As of now, the CFMoto 450SR’s India arrival is not confirmed. The Chinese brand sells four bikes on our shores at present – 300NK, 650NK, 650GT, and 650MT.
