Classic Legends – the company that sells Jawa range of motorcycles in India will introduce another legendary brand in India – Yezdi.
The company had released teaser picture of their first motorcycle that is likely to be the modern version of the Roadking. And now, the company has sent a ‘Block Your Date’ invite to us that makes us believe that the Yezdi brand would make its India debut early next month.
Currently, there aren’t much information on the number of bikes the company would launch, but there’s a high chance of the Roadking and the Adventure Tourer making its official debut on that day. We have already seen the production ready version of the adventure model which was spotted during a TVC shoot.
The technical specifications of the new Yezdis aren’t know yet, but we can expect these bikes to be powered by the 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that is seen on the Jawa Perak. This motor makes around 30bhp of peak power and 33Nm of maximum torque. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
We are expecting the new Yezdi range of motorcycles to be sold alongside the Jawa bikes as both the brands are owned by Classic Legends. Plus, this strategy will help the brand as well as the dealers save lot of money and also increase the overall footfalls.
