- Warranty extended by three months
- Valid on bikes currently covered by the company’s standard three-year warranty
- Production activities gradually and fully resuming
Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, MV Agusta has announced a three-month extension of warranty on its motorcycles. MV Agusta said in a statement that the warranty coverage has had very little use during the lockdown period.
This extension is completely free and applies to all bikes currently covered by the company’s standard three-year warranty and registered before 30 April 2020. The extension aims to ensure that the customers do not lose benefits due to the lockdown.
Claudio Quintarelli, head of after-sales services MV Agusta Motor S.p.A., said that it is important for MV Agusta to express its attention towards its owners' community in some practical and tangible way. He further added that with this move, the company wants to make sure owners don't lose out because of the crisis and can fully enjoy their bikes with complete peace of mind once the restrictions are lifted.
Apart from the extension of warranties, MV Agusta also confirmed in its press statement that the production activities are gradually and fully resuming. Another Italian motorcycle brand, Ducati, too, has resumed production.
