- Recky allows riders to record and share their ride routes
- Users can click pictures to save them in the app with location
- Will soon get a ride summary feature
CS Santosh, an ace rally rider of India, has launched a new mobile application, Recky, which has been developed for the motorcycle riders to connect and share their rides with each other across the globe.
Similar to the social media channels, Recky allows riders to create their personal profiles and connect with the fellow riders by ‘Following’ them. Once connected, a user can view the route spanned by the linked users and follow the same. Simultaneously, riders can also record their own rides and share them with their followers.
What makes Recky interesting is that a rider can click pictures along the route and save them in the application. These pictures can be later viewed by their followers along with the pinned location of the image. The privacy of these pictures can also be altered by either keeping them ‘Private’ or by selecting ‘Followers’ (visible to followers) and ‘Everyone’ (visible to the general public).
Besides showing the route and distance of the rides, Recky also shows elevation and top speed achieved by the motorcyclist during the ride. What’s more, it also comprises of different choices of views including dark, light, topography and satellite view. During the launch of the app, CS Santosh also stated that Recky will soon introduce a feature to create a ride summary at the end of every ride.
Putting emphasis on the concept of Recky, CS Santosh said, “The whole idea was to provide the fast-growing biker community a platform to connect and explore various adventure biking routes in the world.” Recky can be downloaded from PlayStore for free.
