Curtiss Motorcycle Company has unveiled their first motorcycle called the Warhawk. However, the bike will also be the last V-twin powered motorcycle to roll out from the company as it starts manufacturing electric motorcycles in the future.
The Warhawk is a radical-looking, limited edition motorcycle with only 35 units available. It is based on the Confederate P51 Combat Fighter motorcycles and is powered by a 2163cc V-Twin engine that produces 197bhp. It is priced at $ 105,000 (Rs 68.27 lakhs).
The company was earlier known as Confederate Motors but decided to rebrand after they felt it was hampering business. The word ‘Confederate’ has historical connection to the Civil War and with America’s current civil unrest. The manufacturer also tied up with Zero Motorcycles and will unveil their first electric motorcycle called the Curtiss Hercules sometime this year.
