The Stage 11 of the Dakar Rally 2021, which comprised 598km of challenging terrain, concluded with Red Bull KTM Factory’s Sam Sunderland taking the top spot. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Pablo Quintanilla secured the second spot while Monster Energy Honda Team 2021’s Kevin Benavides finished third in the penultimate stage.
Sherco Factory’s Lorenzo Santolino finished in the top-10, taking the seventh spot in the stage while his team mates Rui Goncalves and Harith Noah securing the 14th and 18th positions, respectively. Hero MotoSports’ Sebastian Bühler came 12th. His teammate, Joaquim Rodrigues, missed the waypoint just 20km from the finishing line, thus securing the 27th spot in the stage.
At the end of Stage 11, Kevin Benavides leads the overall ranking while his teammate, Ricky Brabec stands third in the overall rankings. Sam Sunderland, who finished the stage in the top spot, stands second in the overall rankings.
The last stage of the Dakar Rally 2021 will be a short one at 225km.
