- Monster Energy Honda Team 2021’s Ricky Brabec tops Stage Seven
- Joaquim Rodrigues scores his third top-10 finish
- Sherco TVS Team’s Lorenzo Santolino takes 13th spot
The second half of the Dakar Rally 2021 kicked off with the seventh stage and Hero MotoSports rider, Joaquim Rodrigues registered yet another top-10 finish. This is the third, top-10 position for Rodrigues as he finished the seventh stage in the ninth spot. His team mate, Sebastian Buhler secured the 21st spot in the recently concluded stage.
Sherco TVS Team riders Lorenzo Santolino, Rui Goncalves, and Harith Noah secured 13th, 22nd, and 25th positions, respectively in the seventh stage. Monster Energy Honda Team 2021’s Ricky Brabec and Jose Ignacio Cornejo Florimo took the first and the second spot, respectively while Bas Dakar KTM Racing Team’s Skyler Howes came third during this stage.
The rally will spend the night at the Marathon bivouac, leaving the riders to tend to themselves and their machines without the assistance crews. Stage Eight will conclude the Marathon Stage, with 375km of timed special. This stage will bring the riders to the Neom region of Saudi Arabia.
