The third stage of the 2023 Dakar Rally saw Daniel Sanders of the Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing team take the top spot on the podium while Skyler Howes of the Husqvarna Factory Racing team secured the second spot, finishing the stage 6 minutes and 19 seconds behind the leader.
Meanwhile, Mason Klein of the Bas World KTM Racing team finished third, 6 minutes and 59 seconds after Daniel Sanders. Joaquim Rodrigues of the Hero Motosports Team Rally finished in the top 10, taking the 10th spot at the end of the stage. Sherco Factory’s Lorenzo Santolino came 13th in this stage while his teammate, Rui Gonçalves finished 14th.
Indian rider Harith Noah Koitha Veettil of the Sherco Factory team finished the third stage of the challenging rally in the 33rd spot. Speaking about his performance at the end of stage three, Joaquim Rodrigues said that this stage was really fast, sand-packed, and definitely a better one than the previous stage of the rally.
The fourth stage of the rally will include a 425km loop that will start and finish in Ha’il.
