DSK Hyosung has inaugurated its first exclusive superbike showroom in Chandigarh. Called ‘Speed Superbikes’, the showroom is located in Plot No.182/84, Industrial Area, Phase 1 of the city. The showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Hyosung, and the space has in-house sales, service and spares facility.
The latest dealership is the 40th showroom of the Pune-based manufacturer in India. The company also has a showroom in Ludhiana, which currently sells six to seven motorcycles every month, and with the new dealership in place, the company plans to double the number for this region.
Mr Kulkarni, said, "Over the years, DSK Hyosung has grown organically both, in terms of sales performance growing number of brand followers as well as footprint expansion. These factors encouraged us to enter the Chandigarh market.”
It was recently revealed that DSK Hyosung had clocked a year-on-year growth of over 100 per cent for the sales of 250cc motorcycles. Though the company decided to hold back individual sales numbers of their products, the GT 250R and the Aquila 250 are the best-selling motorcycles in the company’s portfolio. The upcoming festive season and the expansion of its network is expected to further boost the company’s sales.
