Ducati has no plans for entry-level motorcycle

-         No entry-level Ducati

-         Monster, Scrambler will be their most affordable bikes

This could come as bad news to a lot of motorcyclists around the world but sadly, Ducati has no plans to introduce entry-level motorcycles.

This news was confirmed by one of the top honchos of the company, Andrea Ferraresi, head of design, Ducati. The brand has no plans to develop any bikes that will cater to the entry-level segment. It will continue to position itself as a premium brand and has plans to go even further up by launching more motorcycles that offer performance and brand recall.

The Italian brands want to keep the Scrambler and the Monster as their most affordable brands for now. The firm believes that Ducati is an extremely aspirational brand and that young buyers should buy other brands if Ducati isn’t within the budget. But can eventually buy one when the budget isn’t a constraint anymore.
