Ducati recently completed the Multistrada line-up in India by launching the Multistrada 1260 Enduro in the country. We give you details about the motorcycle through this image gallery.
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro like its name suggests is based on the Multistrada 1260, although with additional equipment for better off-roading abilities.
As far as body work goes, the Enduro gets knuckle guards and a redesigned engine guard. It also gets a reworked chassis and lower centre of gravity that would ensure easier handling and flickability.
The 19-inch wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel for rear further aid its off-road character. These wheels are 2kg lighter than the ones on the previous model and are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Trail II rubber.
In terms of fuel tank capacity, Ducati has equipped the Multistrada 1260 Enduro with a 30-litre fuel tank which is 5-litres larger than the standard model.
The bike is powered by the same 1262cc, L-Twin engine as the Multistrada 1260. This unit produces 153bhp and 129Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a two-way quick-shifter.
Ducati has equipped the Multistrada 1260 Enduro’s electronic kitty with a 5-inch TFT display, wheelie control system, hill-start control system and a DTC (Ducati Traction Control).
The Multistrada 1260 Enduro rides on semi-active Sachs suspension setup for the front and rear while braking duties are taken care of by Brembo callipers on both ends. It also gets a cornering ABS as standard.
Ducati is offering the bike in two colours- Ducati Red and Sand which are priced at Rs 19.99 lakhs and Rs 20.23 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, India).
