- Ducati Panigale V4 BS6 available from Rs 23.50 lakh
- Available in two variants (Standard and V4 S)
- BS6-compliant engine makes 211bhp and 124Nm of peak torque
Ducati India has announced the launch of the Panigale V4 BS6 in our market with prices starting from Rs 23.50 lakh for the base variant. The Panigale V4 S, on the other hand, will be available at Rs 28.40 lakh.
The BS6-compliant model comes with mechanical changes to comply with the newest emission norms. The updated, 1,103cc, Desmosedici Stradale 90-degree V4, liquid-cooled engine produces 211bhp at 13,000rpm and 124Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm. The six-speed gearbox benefits from a bidirectional quickshifter.
The design remains similar to the discontinued version, although the new model benefits from an aerodynamic package. The fairing-mounted aerodynamic winglets are claimed to deliver 30kg of downforce at 270kmph. Other styling cues include a twin-pod headlight, full-fairing design, a rider-only saddle, underbelly exhaust setup, and a single-sided swingarm.
The feature list on both motorcycles comprises six-axis IMU, Bosch cornering ABS, wheelie control, traction control system, launch control, slide control, and engine brake control. Both motorcycles come equipped with LED headlights and a five-inch fully-digital colour display. While the styling cues and features are similar on both variants, they are distinguished through their respective hardware.
The standard model uses manually-adjustable Showa front forks and Sachs rear mono-shock while the S variant benefits from electronically-adjustable shock absorbers from Ohlins. The anchoring setup on both variants includes twin 330mm discs with Brembo Monobloc Stylema (M4.30) four-piston callipers at the front and a single 245mm rotor with two-piston callipers at the front.
