- Recall stems from issues with cam chain tensioner.
- Marks the fourth recall for the Panigale V4 this year.
- Total of 1,502 units affected.
Ducati has announced yet another recall for their flagship superbike, the Panigale V4 in the USA.
The recall stems from issues with the cam chain tensioner which may loosen and cause an oil leak. A total of 1,502 units of the Panigale V4 series which also includes the Panigale V4 S and Panigale V4 Speciale have been affected by this recall.
This is the fourth recall for the Panigale V4 in the US since its launch this year. The first and second recall addressed a faulty fuelling system which resulted in fuel leaks. The recalls affected 692 motorcycles. The third recall hit 1,663 bikes and was due to an issue with the bike’s oil cooler which could crack and lead to a leak.
Ducati India has not yet issued a recall for the Panigale V4 sold in the country. However, we recommend visiting the nearest dealership to check for the issue.
