- First lot sold out within a week
- Prices start at Rs 20.53 lakh
- Deliveries to commence in July
Having sold out the first lot of motorcycles, Ducati has now relaunched the Panigale V4 in India. There is no change in prices, and the litre-class superbike continues to retail at Rs 20.53 lakh for the base variant and Rs 25.29 lakh for the V4 S variant (ex-showroom).
The Panigale V4 was launched in India in January, although the first lot of 20 motorcycles got sold out like hot cakes. Now however, the company has started accepting bookings for the superbike once again, with deliveries projected to commence in July.
Ducati is pegging the Panigale V4 as the ‘road-going version’ of the Desmosedici GP race machine. Although it is globally available in three trims, the company is only offering the Panigale V4 and the V4 S in India. The new Panigale V4 sports the same familiar looks with the edgy dual headlamps up front, single-sided swingarm and the raised tail section. The Panigale V4 features a completely new powertrain – a 90-degree V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine with an output of 214 horsepower. It goes up against other litre-class superbikes like the Aprilia RSV4, BMW S1000RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, MV Agusta F4, Suzuki GSX-R1000R and the Yamaha YZF-R1.
