Ducati India will update its product portfolio with the launch of the new Scrambler 1100 Pro. The company recently confirmed the update in a press announcement. Here we tell you what to expect from the upcoming Scrambler 1100 Pro.
Design
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro features the same design silhouette as the Scrambler 800 series. Thus, the styling cues include a round full-LED headlamp, an asymmetrically mounted instrument cluster, tall-set exhausts, and rear tyre hugger-mounted numberplate. Along with the Pro version, Ducati may also launch the Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport in the country, although there is no official confirmation yet. The Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport gets a Matte Black paint along with features such as bar-end mirrors and a tan brown seat.
Engine
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro is powered by an air-and oil-cooled, 1,079cc, L-twin motor that produces 83.5bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 90.5Nm of torque at 4,750rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed transmission.
Electronics
The electronic aids on the upcoming Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro include a Ride by Wire throttle, three riding modes, Bosch ABS, and Ducati Traction Control (DTC).
Hardware
The suspension setup on the Scrambler 1100 Pro comprises of fully-adjustable, 45mm Marzocchi upside-down forks at the front and a preload and rebound adjustable Kayaba mono-shock at the back. Anchoring power comes from the twin 320mm discs at the front and a 245mm rotor at the back.
Expected Price
The Scrambler 1100 Pro could be priced from Rs 11.5 lakh onwards while the Pro Sport could be available closer to Rs 11.8 lakh.
