Ducati Streetfighter V2 gets a new colour scheme

- Now available in a new matte metallic green colour scheme

- No changes to the design or features

- Indian launch details unavailable yet

Ducati has announced a new paint theme for its naked roadster motorcycle, the Streetfighter V2. The motorcycle is now available in the new Storm Green colour scheme and will be sold alongside Ducati Red paint theme.

The new colour is visible on the headlight mask, fuel tank, engine cowl, and rear panel. The wheels get a black finish along with highlights of red. Apart from the changes to the colour palette, Ducati has also altered the saddle. The company said that the saddle is wider now and has new padding. Furthermore, the footpegs have been repositioned to increase the room.

The specifications and features, on the other hand, remain unchanged. Thus, the Streetfighter V2 retains its Streetfighter V4-inspired design that includes a sleek LED headlight, muscular fuel tank, step-up seat, compact exhaust canister, and a single-sided swingarm. The feature list retains full-LED lighting, a 4.3-inch colour TFT display, and a comprehensive electronics package.

The electronic equipment, which works with a six-axis IMU, includes cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, bidirectional quickshifter, and engine brake control. It also features three riding modes (Sport, Road, and Wet) with dedicated control settings as standard.

The mechanical specifications retain the 955cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled Euro5-compliant Superquadro engine that delivers a maximum power of 153bhp at 10,750rpm and a peak torque of 101.4Nm at 9,000rpm. The hardware list includes a monocoque frame in die-cast aluminium, single-sided swingarm, 43mm Showa BPF front forks, Sachs rear shock absorber, five-spoke wheels shod in new Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, and Brembo M4.32 monobloc radial callipers with 320mm diameter discs.

Ducati said that the motorcycle will be available in the international markets from July 2022. The Indian launch details for the Streetfigher V2, however, are not available yet.
