- Will conduct DRE Dream Tour, Off-Road Days, Track Days and individual racetrack sessions
- Ducati India Race Cup and DRE Safety will be introduced this year
- Will be officially taking part in the 2019 JK Tyre Superbike Championship with an official team
Owing to the successful response from last year’s Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) program in the country, Ducati India has announced a scale up in the program for 2019. This year, the company will be introducing five DRE events that are scheduled to be conducted in the second half of 2019.
Beginning in July, the company will be introducing DRE Safety for the very first time. Next in the calendar will be the Dream Tour to Spiti Vally, DRE individual racetrack training and DRE Off-Road Days which will be conducted in the month of August. This will be followed by DRE Track Days in September and for the first time, the Ducati Race Cup will be held in October at the Buddh International Circuit and it will follow a one-make format. The highlight of this year's calendar will be the brand’s official participation as a team in the 2019 JK Tyre Superbike Championship in November.
Also, this year, the company has added two new courses to the DRE program. The first is DRE Safety under which riders will be imparted with the necessary knowledge and practical preparation for safe riding. The course will have safety concepts that will be tailored to each participant, depending on their experience. The second course is the Ducati Race Cup that has been specially crafted for India, allowing customers to experience proper racing while contributing towards developing the sport in this country.
Besides this, the company is also conducting its ‘Do-It-Yourself – Ducati Discoveries Experience’ program, exclusive to India. Accompanied by Infinity Resorts in a partnership, the program allows riders to chalk out their own Dream Tours with Ducati for customised experience. For this year, four new destinations will be added to the list of places, besides Corbett National Park.
