- New Scrambler 800 Icon Dark unveiled
- Gets a new matte black paint scheme
- India launch next year
Ducati has unveiled a new scrambler motorcycle: the Scrambler 800 Icon Dark. This motorcycle is based on the famous Icon model but is now more affordable and blacked out.
The Italian brand decided to introduce the Icon Dark to make the Scrambler range a bit more affordable. The company believes the bikes have become expensive over the last few years, and customer trends are also changing. With this new model, Ducati is expected to attract more people to the brand.
The Ducati Scrambler 800 Icon Dark is powered by the same 803cc air-cooled V-twin motor. This motor makes 73bhp of peak power and is also available in the A2 variant, which produces 47bhp. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. In terms of features, it gets two riding modes—Rain and Sport—cornering ABS and bidirectional quick-shifter.
The new Icon Dark has been priced at £9495 (Rs 10.43 lakh), which is a bit lower than the Icon variant. This motorcycle is likely to come to India in mid-2025 and could become the most affordable bike in Ducati’s line-up.
