Last week, Ducati hosted World Ducati Week in Italy and revealed its future plans including new launches in the upcoming months. The Italian marquee also displayed the V21 L Moto-E race bike revealing a bunch of details.
The V21 L will be powered by a 110kW motor revving up to 18,000rom and the output will be around 150bhp and 140Nm. It’ll be mated to an 18kWh battery pack that weighs 110kg. Ducati will equip the motor and battery with separate cooling setups to maintain optimum temperature. The Ducati V21 L’s top speed is limited to 274kmph.
For the rider aids, it’ll feature traction control, slide control, wheelie control, and different maps for throttle and braking. All these will be accessed via the TFT screen upfront.
Ducati has confirmed that the V21 L Moto-E bike will boast 43mm Öhlins NPX 25/30 forks and TTX36 shock for the suspension setup. Meanwhile, the braking hardware will comprise Brembo 338.4mm dual front discs with GP4RR M4 32/36 calipers and a PR19/18 master cylinder at the front. For the rear end, it gets a 220mm disc and a P34 caliper.
Not to mention, it'll weigh 225kg and the bodywork will be completed in carbon fibre and the inside casing too will contain carbon fibre for weight mitigation. Ducati will supply 18 of these V21 L bikes for the Moto E grid in the upcoming season.
