Kawasaki is yet to reveal the final specifications of its new, quarter-litre motorcycle, the Ninja ZX-25R. While the Japanese brand has not announced the power and torque output, a dyno test has revealed the numbers (at the rear wheel).
According to the data, the inline four-cylinder powered Ninja ZX-25R develops 41.4bhp of peak power at 15,350rpm and 20.8Nm of maximum torque at 12,700rpm. Do note that the figures mentioned above are from the dyno test, and the power and torque numbers are from the wheel. While the company has remained quiet about the performance numbers, it has confirmed that the quarter-litre engine can rev to over 17,000rpm.
Meanwhile, Kawasaki New Zealand has commenced the pre-orders for the Ninja ZX-25R. The motorcycle will be priced at 15,990 New Zealand dollars (excluding the ORC). The deliveries in New Zealand are scheduled to start in December 2020. The Ninja ZX-25R will be also offered in Indonesia and Japan.
The new product from the Japanese manufacturer gets premium hardware and features such as Showa SFF Big Piston USD adjustable forks, horizontal backlink adjustable rear suspension, ABS, power modes and traction control system. The six-speed gearbox benefits from a quick shifter as standard.
