- EeVe unveils Forseti e-scooter and Tereso e-motorcycle

EeVe India, an Odisha-based electric wo-wheeler start up, has unveiled its two new offerings, the Tesero and the Forseti, at the Auto Expo 2020. While the former is an electric motorcycle, the latter is an e-scooter with a retro design.
Both the EeVe models are powered by a pair of lithium-ion batteries each, sourced by Bosch. Notably, these batteries are swappable. The scooter is claimed to deliver a range of 100kms whereas the motorcycle runs for 120kms on a full charge. As for their top speeds, the Tesero e-motorcycle can go up to 90-100kmph while the Forseti scooter can achieve a top speed of around 60-70kmph. With full-LED lighting and digital instrument console, both are modern in terms of features as well.
Detailed specifications of both the two-wheelers will be revealed at the time of launch which is scheduled to take place by June-July for the Forseti and by September for the Tesero. The company intends to price them under Rs 1 lakh along with a five-year warranty on the vehicle and three-year warranty on the battery.
EeVe has presence in 45 cities across India with a manufacturing facility capable of churning out 12,000 units per annum. The company plans to expand it to 50,000-60,000 in the next few years.
