Barely a week after revealing the Dragster 800 RC, MV Agusta has revealed their latest Reparto Corse motorcycle in the form of the F3 800 RC.
The 2018 model sports the same white, red and green livery as the outgoing model, however the graphics are refreshed. Apart from the new graphics, the bike gets red rims over the previous black ones and a new seat.
The bike also gets a performance exhaust from SC Project, similar to the one on MV Agusta's race spec version. The exhaust replaces the unique triple-outlet exhaust on the 2017 model. The F3 800 RC continues to use the 798cc in-line three cylinder engine that produces 148bhp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm of torque at 10,600rpm. However, this engine is now Euro4 complaint and gets new engine covers that not only reduce noise and harmful emissions, but also provide better crash protection. The engine also gets reshaped exhaust manifolds and revised intake cams and a valves.
MV Agusta has also made changes to the bike's quickshifter, claiming it to be more smoother on the 2018 model. As for the electronics, the bike gets a ride-by-wire system, four riding modes, eight-level traction control and ABS as standard.
The bike is limited to 250 units and for even more exclusivity, each F3 800 gets a track-only kit that consists of- new levers, bits of carbon fibre and a race ECU that bumps up power to a whopping 153bhp. The MV Agusta F3 800 RC will be on display at the upcoming EICMA and it is highly unlikely for the bike to arrive in India anytime soon.
