Benelli unveiled its middle-weight naked streetfighter, the 752S, at the EICMA 2018 in Milan, Italy. The motorcycle was first unveiled at the EICMA 2017 in its concept form but the company has now showcased the production version of the bike.
The 752S is a quintessential streetfighter with an oval-shaped headlamp, single unit handlebar, brawny and chiseled fuel tank, exposed frame and upswept tail section. All of this lend it a muscular stance. The motorcycle is powered by a 750cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 77bhp of power at 8500rpm and 67Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Coming to the cycle parts, anchoring of the bike is taken care of by dual 320mm semi-floating discs with four-piston caliper on the front and a 260mm single disc at the rear. It is suspended on Marzocchi USD forks with 117mm travel on the front and a monoshock with 45mm travel at the rear.
The Benelli 752S is highly likely to come to India next year and it will compete against other naked bikes such as the Ducati Monster 797, Kawasaki Z650, Suzuki GSX-S750 and the Triumph Street Triple 765.
