A new variant of the Mahindra Mojo has been spotted testing Pune, Maharashtra. Featuring skinnier rear tyre and a single exhaust end can, this is expected to be the entry-level variant in the Mojo line-up.
While the test mule didn’t feature any visual updates, the rear tyre is noticeably skinnier than the current 150-section Pirelli Diablo Rosso II. Going by the tread pattern, these seem like MRF radials. Whereas the dual exhaust is one of the defining bits of the current Mojo, this test mule featured a single end can. This should help the motorcycle shed some weight. The Mojo has previously been spotted testing with telescopic front suspension, though this specific test mule featured a USD setup.
We expect this variant to retain the 295cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder powertrain. In terms of pricing, we expect this version to be around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 cheaper than the current bike. It will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, UM Renegade Sports S and the KTM 250 Duke.
