Erik Buell Racing is a performance motorcycle maker based in USA. The brand currently has a number of street and race-bred models which are doing quite well in their respective segments. The newest addition to EBR’s model line-up comes in the form of the new EBR 1190SX, which is a performance streetfighter model.
EBR has released no details or the specs for the 1190SX. But the naked motorcycle is said to use the same powertrain and chassis also used in the fully-faired 1190RX. As can been seen in the pictures, the naked mode sports a higher handlebar instead of the clip-ons found on the 1190RX.
When launched, the 1190SX is likely to use the same 1190cc, V-Twin engine that powers the 1190RX. In the latter, this big displacement motor is claimed to produce around 185bhp of power. As is the case with all streetfighter models, EBR is expected to retune the engine for a healthier low and mid-range performance. EBR has announced that it will reveal all the details on the 1190SX by July 4.
