In the sixteenth episode of The BikeWale Podcast, Anuj and Neil do some wishful thinking. They go through a list of features they want to be present in every two-wheeler, big or small, geared or gearless. Although these features might be uneconomical for the manufacturers to include in their products, our host and co-host think they will make the two-wheelers more practical and safer. Tune in to the podcast to listen to their list of features. The Spotify link to the episode has been attached below.
Features We Want In Every Two-wheeler | Episode 16 | The BikeWale Podcast
Adding extra features undoubtedly increases the overall production costs of two-wheelers. However, with the prices of bikes and scooters rising more frequently than ever, Neil thinks including these features will make the products more enticing and negate the adverse effect of price hikes to some extent. It might help in retaining the buying sentiment of customers. Moreover, infusing some of these features may also require some smart design from manufacturers. For instance, Anuj wants every two-wheeler to have some storage compartment, maybe under the seat. A compartment big enough to store at least a wallet or water bottle.
