Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has delivered the first lot of its flagship scooter, the Forza 300 at Honda BigWing, Gurugram. The new Forza 30 is the first premium, mid-size scooter in the Indian market.
In terms of performance, the Honda Forza 300 uses a 279cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, SOHC, four-valve engine that produces 24.8bhp at 7,000rpm. The safety net on the scooter comprises of switchable Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system and dual-channel ABS. The Forza 300 is the first Honda scooter to be fitted with the HSTC system.
The premium scooter is built around a tubular steel frame and it features a short wheelbase of 1,510mm. The suspension setup includes 33mm telescopic front forks and seven-step adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. The scooter rides on 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheel. Braking power comes from a single 256mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear.
Feature list comprises of the new electric screen with 140mm adjustability, large under-seat storage that can store two full-face helmets, 12V charging socket and a Smart Key. The key fob can be used to control the main ignition switch knob, operate the fuel lid and access under-seat storage.
The cockpit comprises a semi-digital instrument cluster. The speedometer and rev-counter dials are analogue while the rest of the information is available on the digital display. The screen provides information like odometer, trip meter, range, current fuel economy, average fuel economy, ambient temperature thermometer, battery sensor, and a clock.
