- 1st Tork Kratos rolls out
- Delivery to begin in Pune this month
Tork Motors has rolled out its first production-ready Kratos electric motorcycle last week. The company is readying motorcycles for deliveries which are expected to begin this month.
The company plans to deliver the Kratos EV only in Pune for now. So it plans to contact the customers soon and start the registration and delivery processes. The Pune-based brand claims that it recently gave out a total of 1500 test-ride in an EV event that was held in the city.
The Kratos is currently priced at Rs 1.08 lakh post subsidies. The electric motor on the standard Tork Kratos is tuned to deliver a peak power output of 7.5kW or 10.05bhp and a maximum torque of 28Nm. The R variant, on the other hand, makes 9kW or 12.06bhp and 38Nm of peak torque. Both variants use a 4kWH, IP67 certified lithium-ion battery pack that is claimed to deliver an IDC range of 180km.
The company could start delivering this e-bike in other cities sometime later this year or even next year if it will be able to manage its manufacturing capacities.
