- New four-cylinder cruiser from Benda
- Gets XDiavel design
- Likely to churn out 100bhp
Benda, a Chinese motorcycle maker is gearing up to launch a new motorcycle. This bike is a cruiser and has design elements that looks similar to the Ducati XDiavel.
The leaked patent images clearly suggests that the upcoming Benda bike is a low-slung power cruiser motorcycle. It features design attributes that makes it have a great stance. There are bits like forwarded-set footpegs, wide handlebar and seat on the bike that gives it a good road presence. The tyres are quite wide and the presence of four rectangular exhausts outlets makes it quite unique.
The BD700 is likely to be powered by a 700cc four-cylinder liquid cooled motor that might produce around 100bhp. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox that will transfer power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
This bike is likely to hit the Chinese market later this year. We don’t think tis Benda bike will make its way to other markets.
