- KTM Europe offering Tech Pack with the 990 Duke
- Also offering a free Remus exhaust
- Offer valid only till the end of June 2024
KTM Europe is offering a free Tech Pack with the 990 Duke along with a Remus exhaust. The setup is valued at EUR 1,800 (1.62 lakh). The offer is valid till the end of June 2024. The overall motive is to push sales of the KTM 990 Duke.
Speaking of the Tech Pack, it includes features like launch control, performance riding modes, nine levels of traction control, three levels of throttle response adjustability, five levels of anti-wheelie control, lap timer, telemetry to monitor the lean angle, quickshifter, cruise control, and engine braking control. Meanwhile, the Remus exhaust muffler is a plug-and-play setup that should alter the 990 Duke’s overall performance.
KTM has powered the 990 Duke with a 947cc twin-cylinder engine that makes 121bhp and 103Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a bi-directional quickshifter for clutchless up and downshifts. For reference, the Triumph Street Triple 765RS makes 128.2bhp and 80Nm.
The bike’s hardware too is quite top-notch. It rides on a fully adjustable setup at both ends with WP Apex USD forks and a monoshock. Its brakes comprise dual 300mm front and a single 240mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch aluminium wheels.
KTM India is also eyeing getting its bigger capacity bikes in the country and the lineup will likely include the 990 Duke. ab
