Harley Davidson Sportster S: Details Explained

The new Harley-Davidson Sportster S has been announced for the United States of America with prices starting from USD 14,999 (Rs 11.18 lakh) onwards. The motorcycle is expected to reach the Indian market, although the official details are unavailable yet. While we await an Indian launch announcement, here we explain all the details about the new Harley-Davidson Sportster S.

Design

The new Sportster S features a very appealing design that comprises of a capsule-shaped headlight, a massive front tyre, a short front fender, a lean 11.7-litre fuel tank, a high-mount twin-canister exhaust, and a slim solo seat. The tail section, exhaust, and seat are inspired by the Harley-Davidson XR750 Flat Tracker. The rear fender-mounted numberplate, taillight, and turn indicators give a clean look to the motorcycle. The Chocolate Satin finish on the magnesium engine covers adds a neat contrast to the visuals. The motorcycle comes equipped with forward-set footpegs and a low handlebar.
