- S2 Mulholland launched in the USA
- Claims to offer approximately 195km range
- Available in three different colours
Harley-Davidson’s electric vehicle arm, LiveWire has launched a new electric motorcycle, called the S2 Mulholland. It is currently available in the USA and the asking price is set at USD 15,999 (approximately Rs. 13.37 lakh sans taxes). This is the fourth offering from LiveWire.
Compared to the S2 Del Mar and S2 Del Mar Le, the S2 Mulholland gets a notably distinct design. Its handlebar appears tall and the overall silhouette is similar to that of a chopper motorcycle. LiveWire has equipped it with a flat handlebar with bar-end mirrors and a centrally placed instrument console. Not to mention, the S2 Mulholland looks just as futuristic as its siblings.
Powering the new LiveWire motorcycle is the same 10.5kWh battery linked to a 63kW motor. The setup offers a 195km range and a top speed of 160kmph. The S2 Mulholland also has features including LED illumination, a four-inch TFT with smartphone connectivity, voice control, OTA updates, navigation, and various ride modes.
The S2 Mulholland’s hardware comprises a cast aluminum frame suspended on fully adjustable Hitachi front forks and a preload and rebound adjustable mono-shock. Then, the braking duties are done by Brembo M4.32 calipers. These are mounted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminum wheels. It tips the scale at 195kg, which is slightly on the higher side.
Harley-Davidson currently has no electric motorcycles on sale in India, but it has the LiveWire listed. However, if you are looking for a performance-oriented electric motorcycle, then you can check out the Ultraviolette F77.
