- Harley-Davidson Low Rider to get a new variant
- Expected to get new colour
- Could be unveiled in the next few months
There is a new Harley-Davidson Low Rider version in the pipeline that, according to leaked US and German emission documents, will be called the Low Rider El Diablo.
The document reveals a few specs of the upcoming Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It will come powered by the same 1923cc Milwaukee Eight V-twin engine. Its dimensions also remain similar to the recently unveiled Low Rider ST. However, the El Diablo weighs 4kg more and the reason for that is somewhat of a mystery. But that said, Harley-Davidson’s service paint codes specify a new Midnight Crimson/Nebula Red colour scheme.
While the Midnight Crimson was available with the Low Rider a while ago, the Nebula Red is fresh and the paint combo is expected to hark back to the 1991 Harley FXRT SportGlide. That motorcycle also sported a large batwing fairing and a pair of panniers, something that the Low Rider El Diablo could also come with.
Nonetheless, we expect Harley-Davidson to unveil the motorcycle in the coming months, probably after the Low Rider ST goes on sale in global markets in April 2022. It could make its way to India shores a few months after its global debut.
