Harley-Davidson spins out LiveWire into a dedicated electric motorcycle brand

- LiveWire is now a company

- Will showcases first EV on July 8

Harley-Davidson has decided to make one big change in its product portfolio. The company has decided to separate LiveWire from Harley-Davidson and position as its own electric motorcycle brand.

LiveWire electric bike was first unveiled in 2018 and was priced quite high. But after having some bumps in the journey, it was finally sold in some major markets. But it looks like the American brand wants to carry forward this brand as a pure EV brand and keep it separate from the iconic HD name.

In fact, the company plans to showcase the first LiveWire branded motorcycle on July 8. This new motorcycle will be sold through LiveWire dedicated showrooms and the first one is being built at California. The company plans to introduce more motorcycles under this new brand in the future.
