- New HD 500cc motorcycle spotted
- Based on Benelli Leoncino 500
- Unveil likely this year end
Harley-Davidson has been working on a range of new motorcycles and the world knows about it. But the world didn’t know about a new 500cc motorcycle until now.
A Harley-Davidson branded motorcycle was spotted during dyno test and this is the first time this bike was clicked on camera. According to a report, these pictures were seen in a video that was posted by a Chinese motorcycle firm – QJ Motor. It is the same company the American brand has tied up with for development of some motorcycles, including the upcoming 338 Roadster.
The spotted HD is rumoured to be a Benelli Leoncino 50 underneath. So we are talking about the same frame and a 500cc parallel-twin engine, similar cycle parts and in fact, similar motorcycle dimensions. In short, this motorcycle would be the perfect example of rebadging exercise.
As of now, there aren’t much details on this bike’s launch timeline, but we can expect some of it to come out as we get closer to 2022 EICMA Show.
