It looks like that August went well for most of the two-wheeler manufacturers in the country. The industry showed some decent growth, due to which the overall sales have increased for most of the motorcycles last month. In this story, we list the highest-selling motorcycles in August 2022.
The Splendor brand continues to be the highest-selling bike in the country last month. Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 18 per cent more last month as compared with August 2021. A total of 2,86,007 units of the Splendor bikes were sold last month. The second highest selling was Honda’s CB Shine. The overall sales increased by 8 per cent and a total of 1,20,139 units were sold. The Bajaj Platina took the third spot at 99,987 units. The interesting bit here is that its overall growth last month stood at a massive 77 per cent.
There are a few bikes that made it to the top 10 list but their sales went down by a decent margin. The Hero HF Deluxe sales went down by 37 per cent to 72,224 units. Bajaj’s CT Deluxe also showed de-growth by 9 per cent at 24,094 units. The overall sales are expected to go up this month as well as next due to the festive season.
