Hero MotoCorp has decided to increase the price of all its bikes and scooters by up to 1 per cent. This price hike has already been enforced at all Hero showrooms.
With this price hike, all scooters and motorcycles have become a bit more expensive. The exact quantum of hike will vary on the basis of the model and the market. The company didn’t give any specific reason for the increase in price.
The Gurgaon-based manufacturer have been a bit aggressive with its launch plans. The company launched a total of five products in May. The company added the Xpulse 200 and the Xpulse 200T in its adventure range, followed by the Xtreme 200S – a faired version of the Xtreme 200R. These launches were followed by the launch of two new scooters – the Pleasure+ 110 and the Maestro Edge 125.
In a big development, the company’s CTO Markus Braunsperger recently left Hero MotorCorp to move back to Germany. His position has been filled by Vikram Kasbekar temporarily.
